About the Founder
With more than 15 years of professional experience across tourism, hospitality, administration, education, and community-focused work, Khamphanh brings together a unique understanding of people, service, culture, and local life in Laos.
- Tourism & Hospitality Roots: Began working in local restaurants, cafés, hotels, and as an English-speaking tour guide, laying a strong foundation in welcoming international visitors.
- Community Leadership: Spent more than 10 years with World Vision Laos, gaining expertise in administration, coordination, office management, supply chain processes, training, and working with diverse communities.
- Educational Management: Served as Director of Sangfunh Kindergarten and Languages Learning Centre (2018–2020), sharpening organizational leadership and community engagement.
Today, Khamphanh brings all of these experiences together through Laos Essence Travel, ensuring every visitor experiences genuine local insight and connection.
